I just bought one yesterday. Good lord it is difficult to fly. In my head I would start it up and be able to chase my dog around. Not quite that easy.

yeah, it is very basic. no tail rotor. just a throttle, left - right switch, and a control to straighten it out if it begins to spin.

I bought a cheap one a couple years ago. Really all it could do was hover and spin, and the battery only lasted like 5 minutes, so i got bored with it. I came to realize that if I wanted to get one I could actually FLY, it would cost way more than the experience was worth.

one of those crazy jap shows that come/came on g4 and spike had people competing at some of the weirdest shit (i remember one where husbands had to push their wives around an obstacle coarse in a wheelbarrow that looked like a kitty cat) but there was this one challenge they had different people come in and fly their RC copters through all these different loops and wires and fire. some of it was really sick shit
