because there is one on campus where i go to school.

and quiznos costs over nine thousand dollarbucks.

and i usually get my subs pretty simple anyway

like

meat, pickles, banana peppers, and some kinda dressing/sauce.

somehow i doubt it's worth it for me to go to super nice places to get shit like that

The girl at the Subway on Peace has no idea what double meat looks like (that's what she said).

I went in the other night and walked out with a sandwich holding around 4 pounds of turkey. Normally I can put away a footlong in one sitting (that's what she said), but this monster ended up being two separate meals.

i eat at JM's once a week and 6 and some change aint that bad for a regular sub which fills me up.
i have chips and drinks at work so no need to purchase that and being in their sub club gives you free food after you collect all your stamps for the card

plus, the JMikes by my crib has these young guys that manage the place and they always hook me up with free drinks and free bacon for my subs....FREE BACON!!! and they always stamp my card about 3-4 times more than they are supposed to.

Subway is cheap (relatively at least) and pretty good
Jimmy John's makes a good Italian and a good Tuna. Other than that I probably would not go there except for there being one pretty much across the street from my office.
Quizno's has the most variety. The Honey Bacon Club is my usual there (thank God they brought back the honey french dressing, I was about to cause a scene)
Jersey Mike's is the heat. I just wish there was one even remotely close to campus (Duraleigh/Glenwood or Cary Towne/Walnut are the closest I know of, both long-ass drives) or to my house.

The Harris Teeter subs are actually quite good for what you pay. They put a decent amount of stuff in there, even in the 6", and if you get the sub of the day and the VIC $1 chips/drink deal, you walk out with a full meal for $3.99. Not bad at all.

I had my first two for dinner Saturday night. When the guy behind the counter started making them, one of my early thoughts was "That sandwich is just about the same size and shape of a hard penis."

I still ate them, but I can't shake that thought and I don't think I'll ever order another one again.
