Nancy Lynn died as a result of injuries she incurred during an airshow crash. I believe she came out of a maneuver without enough altitude to spare and put it in. There was a fire and she was badly burned from my understanding, but she was conscious when they got to her. Her son was her announcer, so he was one of the first people on the scene and they were able to speak to eachother. She died later that night in the hospital though.
