I have been looking to take the GMAT....is it really $250 dollars everywhere you take it? Seems a little ridiculous. Has anyone taken this overpriced test...and did they pay 250 bucks to take it? 6/22/2009 11:37:43 AM |

You think $250 is bad. Some certification tests would make your bank account cry. 6/23/2009 8:41:16 AM |

It's gone up over the past few years, but otherwise, yes, this is to be expected. Ridiculous or not, it is a requirement for certain graduate schools. If you are legitimately having difficulties paying for it (and not just griping), and are serious about taking it to the next level after taking the test, go talk to the financial aid office. 6/23/2009 7:13:18 PM |

I took it a few years ago. That test sucked. I don't remember what I got, 700-something, but I do remember that my head hurt for 2 days after the test. 6/23/2009 8:21:04 PM |

I spent around $600 getting my professional engineers license, and I've heard the Bar is around a grand. you're not spending that much in comparison. 6/26/2009 9:01:10 PM |

That's not bad at all.
For me: NAVLE: 525$ (currently, by the time I take it...I'm guessing it'll be more like 650$) State License: 150$ (for NC. and since I'll probably practice in another state...double or triple that).
And..if you're not a US Citizen and want to practice in America...I've heard that exam is a few grand. 6/30/2009 6:44:17 PM |

hahahahaha
I've already spent close to $2000 on board exams just to become eligible for my license.
Over the next few years, I'll have to pay about $3000 more in order to take my specialty boards. 7/2/2009 10:26:27 PM |
