I think they're definitely an improvement from the ones with the diamond plate pattern, and I like the "steel" helmet.

On a football related note, anyone else think that Mike Bellotti resigning and becoming AD was bizarre? He's only like 59, and they had a good season so it obviously wasn't him being forced to resign. Part of it could have been they were trying to keep Chip Kelly from leaving to become a head coach elsewhere but that couldn't have been the only reason...just didn't make any sense to me.

black pants would make them really hot (temperature wise).

remember that Clemson game where somewhere around 10 or 20 fans had to be taken to the hospital because of dehydration? those fuckers were wearing shorts and T's. Granted they weren't athletes and weren't taking the proper precautions, black pant uniforms in the south during football season just doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
