It's not exactly a place worth living. My brother used to live in one of the duplexes/townhomes along brent road. Unless the place had all the carpet, drywall, hardwoods, tile, etc completely ripped out and replaced I would not live there.

Place was a filthy shithole.

I looked at a duplex there about 18 months ago as an investment property. One side had a young couple and their kid and the other side had about 3 generations of one family in it, all 15 or so gathered around their plasma tv sitting on the floor with plastic lawn furniture.

What's the story, they shut down the police substation and it got ghetto?

anybody have any pics from the brent road party around 1999 to show these whippersnappers what a real party looked like?

When I lived there the area was really starting to go downhill. Parties were still prevalent, but no where near the level of where they were in the years prior (2000-2003). The nuisance party mandatory misdemeanor is really what helped drive down brent road. Parties were its mystique and once that ended and the mystique forgotten by the influx of new blood the street lost all its appeal.

Aha, they kicked out the students (effectively, with the NPO's and crushing of the parties and whatnot) and then those folks moved in. To be honest, that's not much of a change from how it was when my brother was there. Only difference was that there were college students and couches AND plastic chairs in front of the TV, and they were partaking in "group porn".
