i used to always start at fm goods, but it's closed now.

Artspace is by far the biggest place; you could spend most of the night in there.

Watch out for Miles and Will blocking the streets with people dancing on bikes.

artspace is good if you like generic art.

but if you've never been there go once i suppose. it just rarely changes from month to month.

lump usually has something interesting, but it's quite small. there's a place over near raleigh times that has had decent stuff in the past. i can't think of the name of it.

^^ First Friday is every month and isn't on Saturday.

And no, it's not centralized. There's stuff all the way from the west end of Morgan Street all the way to the far end of Blount/Person.

it's pretty spread out. you'll find artspace and the lump gallery on blount st., but there other spots throughout downtown.

lot of people tend to hand out around the raleigh times as well
