Need a full check up on my 87 Honda Rebel to make sure everything that I can do has been done to put it in as good a shape as it can be. Any suggestions?

I'm going to be buying a used bike pretty soon and I'd like to have it looked at before I fork over any cash, so I'm looking for the same thing. Any local shops you guys would recommend?
