Getting married in October

Was wondering if anyone has recommendations, and any general advice when looking for and screening photographers.

We are using April Sirit with Evoke Photography...she's a state grad, is reasonably priced and has excellent work. My fiance and I interviewed several photographers after doing some extensive work. I have an uncle who is a professional photographer who we also had look at each potential photographer and he liked her the most as well...http://www.evokenc.com/
