santa's making a hell of a racket and may actually be stuck in the wall behind the chimney as opposed to the chimney itself, given the sounds coming from the bathroom

i was unsuccessful at locating the creature, but there's definitely something in there beating around on the metal chimney pipe in there

it's not in the part where the smoke goes

however, you can start a raging fire so that it heats up the entire flue and melt that fucker out.

i think that's right

i'm not very familiar w/ chimney construction, just going off what i saw when i looked down in there. there's no way for it to get in the actual flue.
