Anybody on here using Liberty Mutural for their Auto Insurance with the NC State Alumni Association Discount? Is it a signifigant discount? Right now I'm using Allstate for auto and State Farm for motorcycle...but just shopping around. 7/17/2009 9:21:05 AM |

if you're a member of secu, they will shop around for you and generally get significant discounts. the rate they got me with travelers is less than half the rate I had with progressive. 7/17/2009 9:36:02 AM |

I switched to them a year ago. Their rates were about half of what i was paying with Geico.
When my wife wrecked my car in january, they did an excellent job handling the claims process. Their preferred vendor was, to my surprise not Jim Bob's Backyard Body Shop, but Performance in Chapel Hill, who did excellent work. They handled all of the payment and the only money I spent was the deductible. 7/17/2009 9:40:47 AM |

I cannot see the discount broken out on my Auto policy, but it shows 5% discount on Homeowners. I can say that I've had Liberty Mutual for years and have shopped around some and still haven't found a better rate for myself. 7/17/2009 9:58:05 AM |
