7/28/2009 1:35:25 PM
wait- are you saying FU to the people who like fat tire? or the ones who don't?
7/28/2009 1:35:58 PM
FU to the people who drink it and insist it's the best stuff since Sam Addam's Boston (insert snobby beer here) Hubster loves it. But he's no beer snob.[Edited on July 28, 2009 at 1:37 PM. Reason : .]
7/28/2009 1:36:36 PM
If i drink fat tire. i can not drink anything else the rest of the night. that shit fills me like an horse dick in a chicken
7/28/2009 1:36:51 PM
the ones who like it.Its good, but not that good.
7/28/2009 1:37:18 PM
FYI Peace Street Market has Leinenkugel's Classic Amber Ale at $10/case until they run out.I grabbed one for myself and one for Biofreak70 on Saturday. It's good beer (not awesome) but you can't beat it for $10, lol.
7/28/2009 1:38:11 PM
I only drink beer with color coded labels that inform me when they have reached appropriate drinking temperature.Everything else is for peasants.
7/28/2009 1:38:20 PM

I like Fat Tire- i'm not gonna say it's the best thing out there, but if it is on tap, it is at the top of the list of beers i'm gonna get... along with #9, Red Oak, and Yeungling
7/28/2009 1:45:34 PM
i had one of these at east village recently. pretty good stuff, i drank it, then decided that EV is boring as shit and went to hi-5 and had a BALLIN time.

7/28/2009 4:01:38 PM
i was really disappointed w/ fat tire, after hearing about how it was everyone's favorite beer in the world and how excited they were that it was finally in raleigh.yuengling is better.
7/28/2009 4:19:32 PM
ironically enough the last time people round here went bananas for a marginal beer simply because it was "new to NC" was. . . yuengling
7/28/2009 4:21:05 PM
^^dear jebus I hope you are trolling with that last comment.
7/28/2009 4:22:12 PM
that was before i was (back) in north carolina.and it's b/c i was living in pennsylvania, so i am allowed to love yuengling w/o being judged.^ i'm not dude. i don't order fat tire b/c yuengling is better and cheaper.[Edited on July 28, 2009 at 4:23 PM. Reason : that rule of thumb goes for a lot of beers, actually. god i love yuengling.]
7/28/2009 4:22:36 PM
I like Fat Tire, but I prefer Sierra Nevada
7/28/2009 4:24:42 PM

7/28/2009 5:12:58 PM
i used to buy into the "my beer is cheaper than your beer, therefore i have bigger balls and will impregnate more ladies" thing, then one day i realized that 1) i could actually afford good beer after getting a real job and 2) they taste a hell of a lot better.don't get me wrong, though, i'll still tear through some southpaw.
7/28/2009 5:14:55 PM
This shit is no different than when Blue Moon was the "in" beer, followed by red bull and vodka, followed by apple tinis, and so on. A buddy of mine was talking about how awesome it was and he was pumped it was coming to Raleigh...BEFORE HE EVER TRIED THE BEER.I'm not a connoisseur by any means, but I can distinguish a good beer and Fat Tire line I've tried is pretty good but doesn't really live up to the hype.
7/28/2009 5:16:00 PM
I agree but Blue Moon is just straight up disgusting whereas Fat Tire is not bad
7/28/2009 5:18:51 PM
i just noticed the background. LOL
7/28/2009 5:19:46 PM
Fat Tire is a good mid-tier beer. high tier beers are good occasionally, and low-tier beers are good after a few high or mid tiers.
7/28/2009 5:39:21 PM
7/28/2009 5:44:16 PM
Sierra's Torpedo IPA is one of my favorite beers
7/28/2009 5:47:06 PM
AFAIK, blue moon has only been "in" in certain demographics. those demographics being defined as "individuals possessing a vagina"
7/28/2009 5:47:54 PM
^^their summer ale is fantastic. so is their anniversary ale and celebration ale.[Edited on July 28, 2009 at 5:48 PM. Reason : k]
7/28/2009 5:48:02 PM
7/28/2009 6:47:09 PM
I will try it later tonight.
7/28/2009 6:54:20 PM
I tried the Celebration Ale b/c I've enjoyed pretty much everything else from Sierra Nevada, and I definitely won't be having that again.
