Yeah and sometimes they don't have a refresh so you have to fill out all the info again just to get a new captcha. It's the first thing I check now...

it's not the actual letters/numbers that are hard to figure out, it's the background noise that makes it next to impossible to see what's there. Also, I really wish each site would say whether or not it's CAP sensitive or not.

^^ i could be wrong, but i think that captchas were originally designed to prevent automated bots from submitting web data (as is most commonly used today). i think using captchas for crowdsourced print digitizing came later
