I made him watch The Notebook with me one time and he surprisingly said it was OK.

The storyline is so real and poignant. The actors are so real and so lovable and relateable. Painfully easy to relate to. The dialogue is witty, understated and so real.

Def not a chick flick. More of a painfully realistic modern coming-of-age film about first real loves.

Cute movie, definitely some LOL moments, and some not so funny ones. I think it's creative and had some great editing too.

I walked out of the movie thinking that she was a huge bitch and he needed to man the fuck up.

Though after sleeping on it I appreciate the film for what it was.

i was really ready to hate her music. and so avoided it for a long time (don't really like the idea of actors/actresses getting access to people like m. ward because of their celebrity). but i actually enjoyed it quite a bit when i did finally listen.

as far as the movie is concerned, i felt it really hit home for me with one of my previous relationships that was in some ways similar to the one with summer (not as extreme in some ways obviously, but i could certainly see parallels)
