I need to find some alternative destinations for a bachelorette party.

So far, the bride has been really pushing two options: 1) a Caribbean cruise; 2) a villa vacation/golf getaway at The Phoenician resort in Scottsdale, Arizona http://thephoenician.com/

While both sound fun, they really aren't very conducive to the debauchery expected of a true bachelorette party. Vegas might be a little much for this bachelorette, but are their any good compromises? Somewhere with great golf courses and a wild nightlife?

This will be MLK wknd 2010.

My bro-in-law had his bachelor party in San Juan, PR and it was the tits. Literally.

I'm sure San Juan has some golf resorts/spa type places...and the flight down there is simple and quick.

i've never known girls to do anything but go to a few bars (that they go to anyways) and wear stupid shit around town for their bachelorette party. one group of girls went to the mountains and a spa.

golf by day and drinks by night sounds like a bachelor party way more than any bachelorette one of which i've heard. hell i didn't think girls even paid that much at them and reasoned it was since they aren't used to paying for themselves anyways.
