and the link for the bill maher clip is from over a year ago. and the second link is from 11 months ago. this isn't "still being kept afloat" by anyone but you. i know andrew sullivan has pushed for birth records only because her birthing story doesn't make any sense. but even he is not on the left (and has been criticized by many on the left for not simply letting this stuff go). the divorce rumor was (and will likely remain) a blip. sarah palin is a documented serial liar (http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/the_daily_dish/2009/07/the-odd-lies-of-sarah-palin-a-roundup.html), so it's not hard to believe that she may have exaggerated the story about trig's birth.

anyway, i don't think much of anyone cares about what she lies about now that she is no longer a public servant.

did you read what i wrote? most of the links he provided about trig were from ~1 year ago. palin has lied. MANY times. that's not really disputed. most people dismiss the people who think trig isn't her son (including me). but i wouldn't be surprised if she made up part of the story (like her water breaking and then her flying across the country and then driving to her home town before delivering the baby). but to be honest i don't care and i don't think it's anyone's business. i think sullivan should drop it (and he has for the most part). so yes, i think it's more likely that palin may have somewhat exaggerated her story of trig's birth, because that's her M.O. there is no proof that the obama birther stuff is true. so that's my take. thanks for misrepresenting me in yet another thread.

once again, hooksaw fails.

he has clearly failed to document any credible evidence that "leftists" are spearheading some sort of attempt to contest Palin's pregnancy and delivery of her son, Trig.

the main problem is, nobody of any credible politcal standing is contesting it, and the few murmurs of it are ancient news.

the fact of the matter is, Sarah Palin's last few raggedy little eggs must certainly be so crusty, it's almost hard to NOT believe that her final child was misdeveloped and now shes the mother of a Downs kid.

that's far more believable than her 16 year old daughter giving birth to a child with a chromosomal disorder that is strongly correlated to the age of the mother.... never mind the vast conspirac that must be contrived and maintained to pull something like faking a birth, and keeping details squelched.


the real question here is, why the hell isnt this family practicing contraception? none of these idiots need to be having any more babies.

I think the good and sensible answer here is that Barack Obama is President of the United States, and Sarah Palin is a former elected official from a (admittedly large) backwater state.

Maybe if we were getting towards 2012 and Sarah Palin was making an obvious run for the presidency things would be different. But as things are, she bowed out of her office. Even as a governor, she would not have had the same status as the President, but now the gap is even greater.
