its the ONLY thing that fuck does is come in, in the 9th inning when they are up 9873409 to 3 against another team, and they call that a save. 9 times out of ten when he does come out mid inning there is no one on base either.

If a team is up 9873406 runs it doesn't count as a save. Look up the baseball save rules - I know you're short a couple key chromosomes but Wikipedia probably spells it out pretty clearly.

pretty far from true, and this is coming from someone who gets intense feelings of rage and hatred when i see a complete stranger wearing a yankees hat. the truth of the matter is he's probably been the best pitcher on that team year in and year out. pitchers like mariano rivera should be used in key situations when 1 run being scored by the opposition will have the biggest impact on whether or not the game will be won or lost. often times that's not in the 9th inning.
