I'm trying to get 99.9 in my bedroom but I can't get it clear enough to be able to listen to it its being overwhelmed by 99.7. Any tricks I can do to boost reception on my radio?

^Thanks but I was hoping for something <$10. I'll just go without instead of spending that much

Pros: None.

Cons: Can't access email after a month.
Web connection is extremely slow.
Customer and Tech Service are horrendous.
I 9 phone is overrated and poor quality for its cost.

Summary: I cannot access Gmail. During the past month, I have made numerous phone calls to Boost about this, easily spending 10 hours on the phone with them. At first, Boost claimed it didn't understand the problem, each time asking the same questions, and giving me the runaround. Finally, today, Boost says it does not provide access to gmail and I should have read the fine print (wherever that may be).

I do not accept this argument.

Boost advertises its monthly unlimited service as unlimited calls, texting, and web access, and web access. That implies the ability to access major web-based email. Therefore, I consider this to be false and deceptive advertising.

Other problems:

The web connection is extremely slow.

The I 9 phone worst designed phone for its cost that I have ever encountered.

During the past month, every time I called I got the same routine every time: How sorry they were. The last call, I didn't get even that. Then they proceed to ask the same questions. Supposedly I have an account into which they're entering notes, but every time I call it's was a complete blank slate.

You can't contact Technical Support directly, and Techical Support either does not respond, or does not respond in the timeframe and gets back to the customer with a half-a--ed voicemail or email claiming it needs more information. No call back information is left. Then you have to go through Customer Service again and play 20 questions, even if you say you are returning a Tech Support call. Then you get shoved down the black hole of hold again.

Pros: Call quality better then Ver TMO and ATT Clear quiet with no dropped calls.

Cons: They need more phones to select from.

Summary: My business has 2 year contracts with TMO and Verizon. We wanted to try Nextel again without the 2 year lock in. From what I understand they are building up the Nextel network for Sprints NOW network. I was told this by a sales rep at a dealer store. How true this is I don't know. I have the i335 which got good reviews and the call quality is very good in the NYC area. In other places around the USA I don't know but here it's A OK/

Pros: 50 dollars !!!. Call quality has been excellent, activation online was a breeze and very speedy. Ordering online was easy and shipping was fast. Instructions, that come with the phone, for activating your service are "dummy proof". I love the no contract part of it. I don't make phone calls when I'm out in "the sticks" or hunting so the signal has always been excellent.

Cons: Phone feels a little on the "cheapish" side, Motorola i465. Wish they had more "high end" phone options. Internet browser is limited, but adequate for what I use it for.

Summary: I switched from T-Mobile, paying over 100 bucks a month, and so far I'm pretty happy. I ordered the phone online, it arrived in 3 days, activated it with a new number online, took less than 2 minutes, and so far it's working pretty good. The phone feels a little "cheap", which it was cheap to purchase, so...I guess you pay for what you get on that point. But so far, for a guy like me who simply likes to make phone calls, text message, and occasionally check my email online, I've got no complaints. Their phones do not have a lot of bells and whistles but if you want things "simplified" this is the way to go. I'll give it 3 months and come back with another update, but for now I would recommend the service. I'm trying to talk my girlfriend into switching to it. She has 5 phones on a Verizon account and her phone bills have been "UNGODLY INSANE". See you in 3 months.

Pros: AFFORDABLE! 5O DOLLARS UNLIMITED, TEXT, WEB, PHONE CALLS

Cons: Poor customer service, wait time too long, issues take a long time to be resolved/ Some poor reception

Summary: So i had boost in 2005-2006 then switched to nextel then back to boost as of 6/18/09. I wanted to port my old sprint number over to boost but the ppl in the store activated with a new number and told me to call and switch the number after i pay the balence on the nextel account. i did and then boost told me i could not port it over on the new boost activated sim. i went back to the store 3 times before it was resolved. called boost 4 times. on the phone for over 2 hours!! 2 ppl said i could port it but i needed to be on a phone other then the two that i was trying to port the number. when i called back from another pone they said they could not port it OMG so the next day i went to the store and had the manager call they said no then he called back and they did it after another 1 hour and a half!!! never again. in the end they gave me four dAYS OF CREDIT FOR HAVING THE 2 PHONES ACTIVE BECAUSE I CANCELED WITH NEXTEL.

Pros: Same great Nextel service - just no contract

Cons: Older internet (Hey the iDEN system is still TDMA). Text messaging is via the web.

Summary: I bought the BoostMobile Starter Pack ($19.99+tax) and am using my i560. Service for the first few hours after activation was kind of flakey - to be expected - but afterwards, awesome. The same great Nextel service I was used to and the CS reps ARE friendly and based in the US.

Some people who post here are just idiots and remember, for every BAD post you read - there are at least equally if not more satisfied customers.

Pros: Cheap (except for paying for a worthless phone and the money you forfeit when you terminate)

Cons: Phone quality very poor (i270)
Can't see a saved number/name you are editing
Phone doesn't work with PC phone mgmt software
Battery life is terrible
Phone makes phantom calls to people
Half the incoming calls go nowhere and caller hears "your subscriber is being located"
$50 Prepay money was forfeited when I canceled the account
