outside of DC, my car had a flat tire. i pulled off on the side of the road to change it and was having a hell of a time.

an old sage black man stopped in a truck to help--before he did, I locked the doors and hid my laptop under the seat. i'm not sure i would have done the same thing if he were white.

i'm glad he helped.

it could have been a really bad situation. it was just starting to get dark, and I was trying to make baltimore before shacking up for the night.

luckily he didn't steal my valuables or my mother.

I got called out by campers this summer. When talking about the pirate ninjia fued. A camper said that it's dumb cause you never see pirates and ninjias fight. I said you do in pirates of the carribean. And the camper was like "no you don't. Those were just Asian people and not all Asian people are ninjias"
