Installed 3.5.2 last night and am having a very frustrating error. I am unable to close any Firefox windows. Clicking the red button does nothing. This is especially frustrating when you end up with a bunch of different windows open and can only get rid of them by shutting the program down. Other than that, everything works great.
Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions? 8/14/2009 11:36:18 AM |

I am not a huge fan of Safari is the main reason I don't use it.
And I normally don't close it. It's only really annoying when I have multiple windows opened and can't close the extraneous ones when I am done with them.
I have uninstalled it and reinstalled multiple times, no go. Thinking I might have to appzap the old install and do it super clean. Kind of a pain. 8/14/2009 12:00:01 PM |

I was going to post about a FF issue with my mac but didn't feel it deserved it's own thread. But since one is created here it is.
I notice weird slowdowns when any of my add-ons needs updating. Like when I am watching a youtube video it hangs or doesn't allow me to actually start the clip. Then sure enough when I manually close FF and restart it a add-on updates and all is back to normal. I first thought it was because I had downloadhelper as a addon, but it still continues even after I uninstalled it. Anyone out there experiencing similar issues? 8/14/2009 11:19:38 PM |

yeah just go into your system library and user library folders and delete all the firefox stuff
or just use appzapper
then try again
i'm assuming you're running 10.5.8? 8/15/2009 12:25:58 AM |
