I don't know if anyone could have predicted just how far Michigan and Notre Dame would sink a few seasons back but now the fun begins: Who will suck it up this season and why? 8/18/2009 4:11:15 PM |

you mean who is going to suck that usually doesn't suck?
i think auburn is going to be worse this year, which after a 5-7 season in 08 would qualify as suck...i have no faith in chizik to do better than Tuberville

I see them more like 6-6...there's roughly four games on the schedule they should win and four they'll definitely lose.8/18/2009 7:10:26 PM |

I know they aren't usually great but I think UVA is going to beat out Duke for last in the ACC. 8/18/2009 8:54:50 PM |

and yes uva will be the shittiest team 8/18/2009 11:17:20 PM |

Duke will be terrible as usual. They lost more starters than any other team in the league with the exception of Maryland. If it weren't for Thad Lewis, they might go winless. Like last season, I think they'll grab 4 wins, 3 OOC and 1 ACC (most likely Maryland or UVA). 8/18/2009 11:25:39 PM |

what is this...2004?
apparently you've never heard of Dan LeFevour or Tim Hiller
western and central michigan combined for 17 wins last year...and only have 1 losing season between the two schools in the last 4 seasons

Chill. I didn't realize this thread was a serious critique of who wasn't going to be good this year, judging by the first posts of youtube videos. I'll be sure to bring the serious from now on.
I just always find that I can count on seeing a good directional early season butt whooping by some Big 10 school trying to rack up some wins. Glad to know we got some die hard EMU fans on the board though!8/19/2009 2:08:15 AM |

BC will be pretty bad this year, 5-7 or 4-8 most likely...and they deserve to be terrible for quite some time. 8/19/2009 1:35:34 PM |

^ exactly, which is why I laughed pretty hard at this today (although I shouldn't have, considering who wrote it):
Quote : | "7. Coach of the Year: Frank Spaziani, Boston College. He doesn't have a quarterback. He's lost his top leader and two best linebackers. And he's got to replace two NFL defensive tackles. If Spaz has BC anywhere near contention for an ACC title, he should be crowned king of Chestnut Hill." |
