This is an important distinction. I agree with welfare's existence, if there was just a way to do something about the leach class. There's a Mormon family in my home town that has like 12 kids, works on and off a few hours a week, and has 3 new cars and a collection of snowmobiles, jet skis, four wheelers and dirt bikes out front of their 3 story house. They proudly proclaim their contribution to society to be spreading Mormonism, through pestering people and having a bunch of damn kids. I want to help the unfortunate, but when you see stuff like that it pisses you off.

oh, dear. i feel for you. i was a social worker w/ work first for awhile and it made me bitter. there were def some people who needed the help, but there were lots of lazy folk. i will never ever work in welfare again
