my main question:

How did Alan Arkin's character know about the gun deal between the 9'ers and Samcro? Does this mean there is a possible rat within Samcro because I've seen nothing alluding to this yet.

If so, who would it be? Opie, for the chance to get at more Mayans? I doubt it, because going to the supremicists is kind of a roundabout way of doing that. Thoughts?

I don't see it that way. Bobby's vote was absolutely crucial to the fate of the club. Had he stayed with Clay and voted to retaliate you would have really seen the club split at that point, especially had they lost anyone during the fued But the fact that he voted smart and told Clay exactly what he felt will be the best thing for the club in the end. Also, having Chip almost die will bring them together, more than they have all season to try and hatch a good plan to get rid of the league once and for all.

The only tear in the seam right now is Opie. He's on a deathwish and won't listen to reason. If and when he finds out the truth about Donna it'll turn everything upside down.

My personal thoughts...i dont think Clay will make it out of this season alive.

Yeah. I thought it was a given that Jax would kill Clay. I wondered if Jax was taking a little of the beating intentionally for the sake of the club or if it was just poor planning/acting on the part of the people behind the show. I can accept either answer.

I'm guessing this is where that scene from the previews where Jax and Clay play motorcycle chicken comes from.

Overall I think the writing this season has been pretty weak. A lot of the shit the club is doing is just stupid and without any kind of though put into it.

They are a gang of gun smuggling motorcycle mechanics. They aren't the most elite group out there, so of course they are going to make decisions off the cuff that aren't the best choice or don't make a lot of sense. I think this season has been stellar. Each episode has me on edge waiting for that final climax when everything hits the fan.


i think Jax could have handled Clay had he wanted to. But like Bobby said, Clay's old and he's mean. And he's put in the time to deserve that. So i think Jax intentionally didn't destroy clay like he could have. As to why he wasn't invited into the clubhouse...we weren't told if he wasn't invited or if he voluntarily didn't come so i'm not really sure about that one.

I'm not expecting them to be tactical geniuses or anything but they couldn't have peeked in a window at that church group, or done a little recon? Instead they just barge in and Clay almost kills a guy in front of a security camera that didn't show Westin shooting, as well as a shitload of witnesses that probably would have said Clay shot first.

good episode. I was suprised that Louann was the one to die, although when they reintroduced Tom Arnold's character last night I assumed it would be someone from that storyline and not the main one that would get axed. So i wasn't "shocked", but still suprised.


^I don't think the club will split. they are very much on the verge, but i think Gemma will come clean about her rape thus uniting Jax and Clay for one common goal. Once that's achieved peace may be restored, i don't know. But it's good to see other guys starting to really see the differences and butt heads so it's not just clay and jax and everyone else is naive.

last night was awesome. I felt like it was so much better than that "90 minute" commercial filled ep from last week. Tig's breakdown, Opie's revelations, it was all awesome. I really like how Opie was strong enough to keep the death of Donna between the officers and give Clay some confidence...but we know after reading the Teller manuscript he knows the changes needed and i think he and Jax will become 1 & 2 next season. Good shit
