^ I don't get it.

^^ For some reason it seems like I don't like you, but I'll say this:

Don't get the swine flu.

Man, I wish I had electronic assignments as an option. That would make my life so much easier.

I'm going to stop using the kids' pens to mark their stuff in class and make sure I always have my own pen on me. Other than that not too sure what else I could change. To be honest, I wouldn't mind getting swine flu now before it morphs into super flu

We are having to go with more electronic copies this year due to budget cuts and very few copies available. I never really thought of that as something to help prevent the swine flu.

Luckily I have sinks in my classroom with lots of antibacterial soap...I plan to just wash my hands every chance I can get!

Okay, here's something that should seem basic, but with young people entering the profession, it apparently isn't.

Anything and everything you put on Facebook, Myspace, TWW, etc., could possibly make its way around and bite you in the ass, so be very careful what you allow to be posted.

Teachers have been fired in Charlotte and Greensboro recently for things that made their way to Facebook. It's the modern version of being the stripper teacher from Varsity Blues.

Carry around a mini bottle of something like Purell and in general just wash your hands before touching your face.

Soap is antibacterial and antiviral by definition. The 'antibacterial' you mention is a given, unless you're referring to the presence of triclosan, which isn't necessary.

I am amazed what people will put on their Facebook. I give my little cousin shit for stuff I see on her Facebook from time to time. She hates me now for it but she'll be thanking me when it comes time to apply for college

what about setting your profile to "friends only" for everything and only adding people you actually know? and furthermore, you can put other people on limited profile and they wont have access to your pictures or wall.

you cant completely control what other people put on facebook but you can control what people see through your profile

So can you guys hose your kids down with Purell or something before they leave the classroom?

'Cause I'm tired of getting sick because I work with people who have kids, and classrooms seem to be a very effective breeding ground for colds
