since water vaporizes on contact, suspending particles into the air, increasing surface area exposed; thus increasing the rate of combusion.

Yeah I was really expecting some news clip like that Olivia Newton John had a hairspray burn up. Is this just you checking if this is true? cause yeah, your supposed to pour baking soda on grease fires.
