I think this is a funny situation many bands are in.

no one in the band listens to Kings of Leon and Im pretty sure the drummer and guitar player have no idea who they are.

Is it the vocals? I always thought the vocals and melodies sounded too much like The Walkmen.

the opening of "scortched earth" reminds me of the broken social scene song "stars and sons"

also your myspace layout is really bad. the background image makes it impossible to read it.

the untitled track vaguely hints at the opening of Sex on Fire. The leader singer's voice helps relate that. Kind of a rough cut of the first 30 seconds of that but with some tambourine. I don't hear it on the other tracks near as much, if at all.
