I just got one that had been in my parents house but its unsecured. I know theres a way in vista to pull up a page where i can create a password for it but I'm unable to find it.

Look through the manual and either

(1) find the default administrative password, log in, and setup the security settings

or

(2) find out how to reset the routa and then do (1).
