I've never had cake over fondit. And I don't know what fondit tastes like. I think it's just sugar and gum paste rigth? That doesn't sound very good.

I hear most people peal it off and just eat the cake anyway. True?

yes that's what i do. it is just sugar basically, and is terribly sweet, sticky, nasty, and food-colory.

fondant is pretty much for decoration from what i understand. i'm still going to eat a button or two to see how it tastes.

^the "+" key is really the only one that looks crooked to me. it's pretty well done, i think.
