How come sometimes when I sign in...on the right hand side there is a list of people who are online, and then other times it is an ad? This is quite confusing. I guess it doesn't matter much. I don't know that many people on here anyways!

i dont know if this is the correct answer but from i think that feature causes "OH SHIT" Internal server errors on the home page making it non-viewable

qntmfred probably turns it off and on when TWW is crapping itself

actually qtmnfred addressed this in a thread once. i specifically asked him what makes it go down. he said something about the server can't connect to the database and so it comes back with an oh shit error
