where are the park and ride lots these days? the transportation page for park and ride hasn't been updated since 2005 and i just got back from trying to catch a bus over at the vet school lot and/or carter finley, but didn't see a sign for where the actual stop is anywhere (and there were only a couple cars in the carter finley lot). so where are the actual bus stops for these lots? is it a better idea to just use the centennial park and ride? 9/2/2009 10:30:28 AM |

thanks for the suggestions, i haven't had to deal with any of this stuff for the last five years, but i didn't renew my permit for this year because i'm going to be gone in october. i typically ride the bus from durham, but there are some days when i just need my car in raleigh. 9/2/2009 11:36:43 AM |

You could just email NCSU DOT and they'll have an answer for you. They usually reply to emails within a half hour during business hours. 9/2/2009 3:00:45 PM |

^According to the timetable, theres only 1 bus on that route, so its every 30 minutes (hence why I do the Carter Finley one, since its every 15 minutes). According to the driver the other day, they are adding another bus to that route for Thursday though, but there is no mention of it on their website. There are all sorts of other news announcements on that site, but nothing about the fact one of the Park and Rides is closed, which seems to be one of the more important things that should be mentioned. 9/2/2009 10:49:49 PM |
