If beer had no alcohol, and was just a frothy beverage akin to lemonade or pop, would you still drink it just for the taste ?

in a sense, yeah, because I'll have a single beer while doing yard work or with dinner on a relatively regular basis.

On the other hand, I wouldn't touch a non-alcoholic beer, on the grounds that doing so would be stupid, ridiculous, and gay.

I found that I began to appreciate the taste of beer as I got older. When I was younger, I drank beer only to get drunk and I really didn't enjoy it like I do now.

Been drinking beer for nearly a decade now, and I still haven't really developed a taste for it with or without food. I merely tolerate it as a way to get buzzed. Sometimes I really wish I knew what it was like to really enjoy a nice beer.

Not really. Beer only "tastes good" because I drink the shit out of it and associate the buzz with the taste.

There are some that I definitely would still enjoy drinking. I like having a drink or two to take the edge off after a long day, but I don't really enjoy the sensation of being drunk, so the loss of the alcohol wouldn't be a big deal to me.

I probably wouldn't, though I do like the taste with some foods. I'm saddened by the amount of N/A beer (Buckler) we sell on a typical weekend at work though.

i drank like 8 or 9 mountain dews one night in a couple hours and i felt like shit. but i drink beer for the alcohol.. i hardly ever have like 2-3 beers and stop, but if i do it's newcastle or somethin better..
