I wasn't a fan of her at all, but usually my faves never win so I'm used to it

I'm actually disappointed that they are doing a season 6 this early. One of the things I loved about SYTYCD was it was a show I could watch in the beginning of the summer when all my other regular favorite shows had stopped for the regular season. I know there's been time between the last auditions and the ones for S6, but I just feel like it's rushed. I thought S5 had a lackluster group overall, that I'm kinda worried about the selection pool for S6. In some cases in S5 it was strictly the choreography that I disliked.

I'll still watch...and hope that it's better than S5.

I'd prefer they redid celebrity circus but with better celebrities, oh well I'd still rather watch this show than america's got talent

in watching the Phoenix auditions last night, before the commercials they kept talking about this amazing breaker. they'd show clips of Mia Michaels all overwhelmed with the talent she just witnessed saying stuff like, "you're stupid...that was disgusting!"

and then he came on, and while impressed b/c i couldn't do that, i was underwhelmed. i mean, we've seen breakers, street dancers and poppers that have done crazier shit than he did in the past

and the fact he's worked with their Lauren before with choreography for the auditions? now that's just...fishy...

oh...and the 46 yr old auditioning was the BEST laugh I've had in all 6 seasons of auditioning! More than Sex even! He was hilarious and god awful...I had tears I was laughing so hard

a lot of people they focused on in the auditions got the axe including Ryan (Evan's brother from S5).

the clips of the solo portion before deciding on the top 20 were A-MAZING

I hope Mia Michaels is right in that this season is gonna blow season 5 out of the water, and I hope the choreographers step it up to showcase the contestants' talent if so

Adam Shankman crying over dude's solo...I felt a little bit of, "I could actually fall in love with this dancer, and make out with him behind the curtains" twinkle in his tears

and if it's not just dynamite editing, the talent this season looks to be way better than last season. seems like there's a little more character too.

Phillip & Channing--AGGGGGGH, she's a kissy face dancer. I hate that. Their lack of chemistry lost the whole thing for me

Jakob & Ashleigh--They were very, very good; loved the choreography as well! However, it bothered me that she played to the camera in one move toward the end when she should've been playing it to Jakob.

Arianna & Peter--she hit really hard in the beginning then it kinda fell :/

Russell & Noelle/Melanie--wow! Go Russell!!

Bianca & Victor--really enjoyed this one & the pairing. Travis has really shown himself to be a strong choreographer. They did a great job I thought

Kevin & Karen--She saved him, as she was so good & hot...I wanted him to be so much stronger than he was.

Ryan & Ellenore--I really love their pairing! He's soooo masculine, and she's such a cutey feminine patooty that this was really great for me. Loved their performance! Their lifts were so fluid and his ballroom background made that so easy.

Brandon & Pauline--I liked her dress and hair She was great, he not so much (he was thrown in at the last 2nd)

Legacy & Kathryn--Another great pairing! Loved the choreography...Legacy is growing on me the more I see

Mollee & Nathan--For me that was just pure entertainment, otherwise I thought it was sloppy. Definitely not the best disco we've seen on SYTYCD.


Not surprised that Brandon got the boot since he entered so late. There was a reason he was passed up for top 20 this go round.
Sad Arianna got the boot only cause she's from Raleigh...but Pauline's solo trumped Arianna's for sure.

Season 6 looks exciting!!

A few observations from last night:

- I agreed that Bianca should have been the one to go home; she isn't as good as the other girls, despite her unique tapping talent. I would have liked to have seen a little more from Phillip. He didn't dance great this week but I got the sense he was actually better than that.

- I'm ready for the fans to be able to vote. Not because I actually call in and vote, but it seems to make the show more interesting at this stage in the competition.

- Legacy really is getting better and better. I didn't think he would.

- Ashleigh is growing on me a little.

- Mollee and Nathan are precious.

i still dont think this cast is as strong as last season.

there are a few really good dancers but no need for 3 tappers nor was there a need for a crumper, a b boy and a hip hopper. i really like Russell and legacy but have no use for the other guy. i feel they passed up at least 4 better dancers.

still love the show and agree 100% on who went home. i actually like taking the vote out of stupid america this far into the show. i hope they keep this way until the top 10 is decided. that way at least THE best dancers will stay in the show and not the most cute and adorable.

the potential talent seemed great a week or so ago, but we agree there hasn't been a standout performance yet.

and we hate the stage. no matter what they do to it (props/lighting), the one dimension makes it static and boring. i really don't like the black voidness of the back corners. maybe it'll grow on us and hopefully part of it is fear of change

Seeing entertaining specialists becoming mediocre generalists is the big failing of this show. That's why the auditions are much better than the tedious show.

great episode and i just love Russel....I hope he wins.

Jacob is the best dancer on the show by far this season...or strongest dancer rather

its stupid but its true, she was an awesome dancer

i thought kathryn deserved to be at the finale too, she really really stepped it up and actually demonstrated growth (that word is thrown around often in this show, i actually saw it from her)
