I am looking to get a gift for my father embroidered and I have no idea of any good shops around here. The piece is fairly simple, just three letters/numbers embroidered in the center of an existing embroidered maltese cross.

Has anyone had any good experiences with a local shop that theyd rec?

things remembered at the mall may embroider for you. not sure if they don't do items sold in the store though.

Things Remembered should do something like that.

I bought my husband some cuff links online and had them engraved there.

There's a place in crossroads near toys r us where the volunteers where I work were referred to, if we wanted to get anything of our own embroidered with the agency logo/name.

That's all I have

^^ Don't go there. The manager is an inherent jackass and treats his employees like trash.

orly?
Details?

Unfortunately, at least from the volunteer POV, we're sort of locked in.

But I don't go around getting stuff embroidered, anyhow

I knew a few of the employees that worked there. One was a close friend and I'd usually get phone calls at like 2am to get them food from cookout because they didn't have time to go anywhere to eat. The manager/owner overworks everyone so they end up having to stay there until 3-4am most nights to get their orders in while the guy's at home asleep. Stuff doesn't work how it's supposed to, people get canned, etc etc. Something else about the owners son getting pref treatment, but I kind of zoned out at one point in her conversation.

Guess I should say that the staff does turn out a decent product, but they do it at the expense of their sanity and health. Sweatshop-ish.
