Its amazing to see how much Seattle has embraced the storm as their premiere pro basketball team since the sonic left. I felt like the Sparks were the team to but SEA is a tough team with all the guards and shooting threats. Hard to imagine how the series would have gone with lauren jackson in the lineup(win it all hands down?)...Bird just refuses to lose though. Also somewhat surprising to see camile is still doing the little things just like at unc. I always thought she would be a bust that coattailed off of great college teamates/coach.

I hope phoenix loses just because I hate the soccer corperate sponsorship crap and don't want "team lifelock" to get any more advertising. The more exposure they get the sooner the almost inevitable invasion of ad-jerseys infiltrates american sports. Before you know it the lakers, steelers and braves will have "Tropicana", "Ford" and "Coca Cola" on thier jerseys.

This isn't a male only site but even if it was, its not like there aren't males that enjoy women's sports. Just because you and maybe your friends are sexist and not complete sports fans doesn't mean its the norm...even here.

I actually have not been keeping up with NCCU athletics since I transferred from the school, but I will be making my first NCCU football game this weekend when they play Duke for the first time. Ill let you know after the game.


NCCU is not the powerhouse they once were when they were still division II so Im not sure what to expect man...but should be a fun game.

I was at a bar the other night and this crap was on (cause you know they're gonna have one tv on ESPN always) and I swear I've seen more people at high school wrestling matches. I think everyone in the crowd either won free tickets or was a special ed person they just sorta wheeled in there to feel special sitting courtside.

Come on ESPN, you have a massive vault of good old stuff. Show reruns of Cheap Seats or The White Shadow or something.
