I have a laptop that I want to get looked at. Pretty sure it has major virus issues and also want to see about getting some upgrades.
Any good reasonable shops in Raleigh/Cary? 9/24/2009 6:58:20 PM |

If youy’re still a student take it to the walk-in center at the West Dunn building. They will get rid of the virus for free, and backup your data if it needs reformatting.
They can also give you advice on upgrading if that’s what you want to do. 9/24/2009 7:03:23 PM |

Intrex on Wake Forest Rd. is pretty good. They mostly sell parts and they have a service department that I haven't used, but I'd trust. They were helpful when I built my own system while still living in Raleigh when I was getting all my parts. I'm pretty sure they could handle your laptop.
