Hi. This will sound odd, but I'm looking for somebody to do a nail tip for me. To be honest, I'm not sure what that is, but it is what was recommended to me.

I just played softball and I tore the nail of my index finger halfway in the pink. I now know why fingernails are used for torture... Extremely painful and bloody. I've cleaned it a bit, and I'm planning on soaking it in peroxide for a bit. However, I'm right-handed and I use this finger all the time, and I can't be touching things and it continue to rip the nail in the pink.

A couple people recommended having a tip put on it to prevent it from bending and tearing, and since it is a tip, I could remove it quicker and cleaner once my nail has grown out...

I don't know anything about it as I've always had strong nails and never did fakes before, so if you know of a better solution, I'd appreciate it.

Does anybody know of a nail salon that is open late on Sundays? Or do you know someone in the area that could do this for me? I have a lot of typing that I need to do tonight and tomorrow, and this is extremely painful...

but none around here (that I know of)
