So I e-mailed the person about it to get some more information on it and some more pictures. The inside and outside look fine, just needs a good wash and wax. This is all they told me about the car .

"Daughters boyfriend floated the cam Motor is 350 v-8 with a v-6 transmission. Car needs sensor float for gas gauge and exhaust needs sleeves."

I don't claim to know everything about engines and cars, but I do know my way around a car and can do most work on them, But I have never heard of floating a cam. I have heard of floating the valves but never the cam. And Im guessing the "exhaust sleeves" are just gaskets or clamps or something like that. I aint worried about the gas gauge.

But I am kinda worried about the 350 on the 3.1L tranny. Does anybody know if the T5 in the V6 camaros are the same as the V8s? I know the 700R4s were basically the same just a different bellhousing so I didnt know if he just swapped the bellhousing on the T5. I already emailed them back trying to get some more information on the engine because it is carbed and not the fuel injected 350 tpi as I was hoping.

Well nevermind then, It was still up as of 30 mins ago. I guess that answers my question. I wont be buying it. Delete this thread then.

did you really need confirmation that it was just hemorrhaging fail all over the place?

i mean, MAYBE if I talked to the daughter's boyfriend and he knew what he was talking about...and depending on what transmission he had mated up to the 350.

just based on what was said in the ad? You've gotta be fucking kidding.
