I'm speaking of the age old and trite nonsense where "TO BE USED FOR BACKUP/EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY!!11" is plastered all over nintendo roms and crappy pirated software.

Scenario: You have purchased multiple educational DVDs from various companies to be shown in a constant loop and they're a mix of mastered DVD9 and laser printed DVD5 (the dye rings are present). For whatever reason your carousel player is shitting bricks flipping back and forth between formats/media and some are even requesting user input on the title menu.

Solution: Either rip the media to a digital format and eliminate the DVD player altogether, or consolidate to one maybe two DVD DLs.

I haven't googled yet, as I'm currently pressed for time, but I figured at the very least my boy Noen will have an opinion, because I know that PacMan cabnit [sic] was 190% 2legit2quit.

Strictly legally speaking, you can't consolidate them.

The stupid ass RIAA was trying to convince legislators a year or two ago that school teachers should VIDEOTAPE a dvd playing on a screen with a camcorder, and use that tape to play back to students.

Practically speaking, yes that's what you should do. Consolidate the videos down to a manageable set, or rip to digital. If it's for educational purposes (ie to be used in a school or institution), there is absolutely no one that is going to come after you for it.
