Yeah, pretty much. I don't let NCSU athletics bother me in the slightest. It's more fun to go to the games when we're good obviously, but I still go just to socialize with people I don't normally hang out with.

The Wolfpack step out of ACC play this Saturday as they take on undefeated BYE at Carter Finley Stadium. NC State looks to get back on track as they've been shut out in the all time series. Tom O'Brien's squad has suffered 3 consecutive losses and with an upcoming game slated for the 31st in Tallahassee, October promises to be a painful one. The Wolfpack's last game, a 52-0 setback to Boston College, had many in the stands scratching their heads. "We just didn't execute well", said QB Russell Wilson. "There were times when......jeez....we have to play better. We lost to *expletive* Duke. I'm sorry...I'm just so *expletive* ready for baseball season"

Head Coach Tom O'Brien was a little more poised and spoke about moving past the BC game and focusing on BYE. "We've been getting our butts whooped. We have to get back to basics and try to fix some things. BYE is gonna be a tough opponent"

By contrast, BYE enters the game without a loss. Tom O'Brien had more good things to say about BYE. "They handled a really good Clemson team a couple of weeks ago. The same boys that put a beat down on Wake Forest this Saturday? We'll all be in the film room watching tape of the Clemson game and see if we can put some things together."

I don't remember anyone saying anything bad, all I know is that those guys are the best. Just listen to the radio commentators out there for any other team and you'll grow to appreciate them better. They're even a million times better than the guys doing the professional games (Panthers).

They do use the 'excited tone' for the other team quite a bit - elevated tones for they're at the 20, the 15, the 10, the 5, TOUCHDOWN!1!1!11... Boston College - and they'll talk up some of the better players on the other team, but I'd rather listen to that than some of the other ridiculously bias commentators out there.

EDIT: If you've got to commentate on an NCSU game how can you go an entire game without dissing the team? They've got to call it as they see it.
