I have had pickled pork chops and they was yummy! Asparagus sounds good. Can you buy or just make it yourself?

I am going to try my hand at picking next summer, and we have a little asparagus patch that comes up every year. I might try it.

Hopefully our cucumbers will do better next year. They were rocking for like 2 months then just quit producing.

hey dje, can you send me your pickling recipe, please?

I bought mine at the Southern Christmas show but I would like to try and make it myself. They used the really thin asparagus.

it came down to pickled okra or pickled asparagus and I chose asparagus. The okra was quite delightful, too.

I don't exactly have a recipe yet. My friend's mom is going to show me how to do it next year

Although Alton Brown did a whole episode of Good Eats about pickling, so I bet there are some good ones in there.
