take the door panel off and see whats going on. the track could be binding up. I would let it go on like this too long. get some silicon spray and see if that helps the problem. has the truck been wrecked before on that side? 12/5/2009 5:28:10 PM |

yeh, I'm going to take the panel off tomorrow when it's not raining. just thought I'd get a few ideas of what may be happening before I open it up.
never been wrecked. 12/5/2009 5:47:30 PM |

Sounds like its binding up. The gears in the motor might be stripped though as well, but then it would be wierd going up too. 12/5/2009 5:54:31 PM |

can't really see much other than maybe a lack of lubrication... what kind of greases/lube should I use on the tracks? 12/6/2009 12:22:14 PM |

picked up some white lithium grease and sprayed the tracks and gears. seems that problem is fixed.
thanks
