whatever, of course a male dominant site will be closed minded on this issue but woman only lack size, power and speed. Basketball being a skill sport where people who lack phenomenal size power and speed (nash) can still dominate makes it possible. A girl could play guard in basketball just like a girl could be a kicker in football.

Everybody immediately thinks of a girl getting posted up inside when they think about one playing basketball. that just wouldnt happen. The girl would obviously play outside.

I'm a big fan of the school with the best women's college team in the last 15 years and there is NO way that any woman will play in the NBA any time soon. Period.

Women will never be in the NBA the same way that women will never be in the NFL, FIFA, NHL, or whatever other organization you can think of. First reason is money. The WNBA is a money-making organization and, as such, if the NBA is integrated to include both men and women then one stream of revenue is effectively cut off. Second reason is tradition. Men and women have always been in separate leagues with these sports. Integrating them is more trouble than it is worth, and to be quite honest, it really isn't big enough of an issue in enough peoples' minds to be realistic whatsoever.

Theres a guy named Steve Nash in the NBA and he's the smallest, slowest, least poweful guard in all of the nba. Well let me tell you he dominated for years and even won MVP one year and he did it all being slower, weaker and smaller than 95% of his opponents. Why? because basketball is about a lot more than size power and speed. Its about hand eye coordination, focus, emotions, leadership, logic, critical thinking, and ball skills.

I'm not saying there will be a female nash or that a girl can dominate in the nba. But if nash can be the best player in the nba with inferior size, speed and power, then theres no doubt that a female can make an nba roster. Think of the dropoff between the mvp and the worst player to make a roster.

Women are much better than men at handling emotions/anger and staying poised during tensed situation. I would much rather want a female shooting fts to win the game. Women are also much better at teamwork. Its known fact that men are territorial and competitive "ME firsts" so having a girl would help keep the team together in practice. Yes, I'm talking about "practice".

I played high school basketball and lots of pickup against very athletic males (who were often older than me) in many diferent regions and locations. All of my basketball life, I've been smaller, slower and weaker than all the guys but was still able to dominate because I knew how to play the game. I knew how to get open, how to attack defense, how to setup teamates, how to shoot, how to pass and how to outsmart my faster, quicker, more athletic, stronger opponent. I also had great ball skills and handles from a young age.
