From what I can find, it looks like the software for it doesn't work on Vista or 7.

Can you confirm this?

setpoint 4.8 works on both vista and 7. Good mouse, I have one as a backup since I switched to the MX Revolution. The only problem I had was the battery life slightly diminishing over the years, but that is to be expected.
