Did a few searches, and couldn't find anything. It may be buried in another TWC thread, but I'm not sure.

Does anyone have a problem where now if you let your DVR sit for about 2 hours, it pops up saying the box will go into "sleep mode" if no buttons are pushed? If I let it "sleep", it won't turn the box off, but all DVR controls are no longer valid. I can't "rewind" if I miss something.

yeah I had that issue with my box (SA 8300HD DVR) if I left the box on for a few hours without pressing any buttons. I never could figure out how to stop that from popping up and I never bothered to call about it.

I get this sometimes, I think if you don't use any DVR functions (pause, rewing, etc.) for some duration of time it stops recording live TV which renders DVR functions useless until the unit returns from sleep mode.
