I think there is a LOT more to this story. I mean the guy has no complaints at all in 10yrs at TT and now all of a sudden some off the wall story like this comes out and he is fired days later. Something just doesn't add up.

That being sad, he is a fantastic coach that built a nothing program into a national contender.

He is a firey coach who has had some explosive and exciting teams. His record at TT is way better than the inflated record that TOB had at BC.

I hated when we got TOB over PJ and I don't like him here at all. Sure he is 3-0 against UNC but he really isn't improving anything. We are actually getting worse IMO. Not to mention its just painful to watch TOB coach.

All that on top of the fact that the guy we passed up has completely turned around GT and has already won them an ACC championship while TOB isn't even in a bowl in year 3.

We fucked up the hiring whether some fans want to admit it or not.

The search for our football team is a lot different than it is for basketball. Some people we want for football actually would want to come and coach here.

The situation at GT was a whole hell of a lot different than the situation here. GT has gone to a bowl game pretty much every year this decade. They got rid of Chan Gailey because he was not competing with the likes of VT and FSU AND wasn't beating Georgia. We got rid of The Chest b/c he plain sucked and his teams sucked.
