I'm about 45 minutes into this, but can't quite figure it out. It looks like a Yimou Zhang film minus any coherent plot and the cool martial arts scenes.

good luck, i made about an hour or so and turned it off. there's a reason no one picked it up for wide release.

saw it in denver and met the actors/director and what not - was fun. i loved the movie - and they did a Q&A and shit afterwards.

I saw it about two weeks ago and thought it was a pretty good movie. Strange at parts but good story
