I'll never get down with Katrina jokes if we're fucking talking about football. Say our run defense blows, say Brees doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the greatest QBs discussion, talk shit about Reggie Bush, dis us for losing our last three regular season games and for our unspectacular playoff record. But out of this entire current roster (counting reserve list players), six of them were on the roster the year Katrina hit. One hasn't played a down this season and one was signed 3-4 weeks ago (then put on IR before the last playoff game). I'm not even going to name the other four. That's how tangentially unimportant a 2005 event is to a 2009 roster.

Yes, Katrina affected me in a negative way. No, I don't throw that fact out there whenever the Saints are the topic. But when you fucksticks direct the topic away from football and toward a fact of life that didn't affect ~95% of the roster the same way it affected me, then yes, I'm going to get pissed.

I have no feel for this game at all. I want the Saints to win, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Vike's D gives Brees hell. Hopefully it'll be a shootout to make up for all the shitty games up until this point in the playoffs.
