Mass Effect and then pick up Mass Effect 2.

I'd say Bioshock so you have time to beat it before Bioshock 2 comes out.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 is coming out next month and its not one of those games where beating or playing the previous one matters...also a demo is out anyway.

G.R.A.W. is just too old and probably doesn't have many people playing online. I'd get MW2 if thats the type of game you want.

Orange Box is great but if you've already beat half-life 2 and all the other episodes not really worth it.

it is one of my favorite games.....

BUT I think people who buy Bioshock 2 on steam (i know this is a 360 thread) get a free copy of Bioshock 1.....maybe if you look around and have a capable PC you could get a free copy!

Mass Effect and Bioshock.

Mass Effect isn't FPS, it's more like a third person space shooter/RPG. It was my favorite game of 2007 though, I HIGHLY recommend it.


btw I'd disagree with Golovko on what he said about the Orange Box. Orange Box is worth it for Portal and Team Fortress 2 alone, but I only ever play Valve games on the PC so yeah.

^you can buy portal in the arcade now on Xbox360 and team fortress 2 is awesome but I think there are more people on the PC. The few times i've tried recently hasn't been much fun finding a match.

GRAW never really had that many people online. The campaign is fun though.

ME and Bioshock are more like RPGs.

Orange Box has a better following on the PC.

Left 4 Dead had good reviews but if you want that kind of game just get Left for Dead 2

The best multiplayer for FPS's are Halo and MW2. Borderlands is definitely up there but it's a role playing shooter from first person and a slightly different Element.

From your list I'd pick Bioshock, Bad Company (o rmaybe L4D though I'm not really a fan I can tell it can appeal to lots of people). If I had to pick two FPSs for you it's be Fallout 3 (or Borderlands), and CODMW2.
