i think some people are getting confused with overexposed vs overrated?

People like Michael Cera...I don't think anyone out there would argue the kid deserves an oscar or that he is some great actor; pretty much everyone agrees that, although he was really funny in Arrested Development, he plays the same character all the time. I'm not sure what criteria you would be using to say they are highly regarded. My guess is that you are seeing them get roles in tons of movies and are tired of hearing about them and seeing their name everywhere. Combine that with the fact that you may not like them and/or their acting and thats really just being annoyed at overexposure.

Also, with someone like DDL, people think he is a great actor, and he is. Sure, you may not like the fact that he doesnt take every role thrown at him, but I fail to see how that plays into whether or not he is a good actor.

This is all my personal opinion, but I feel like someone has to be pretty highly regarded before you can even debate whether they deserve it or are overrated.
