Do NOT recommend.

I wanted to like this movie based on the previews. Del Toro just went down in my book a few pegs...he's not necessarily my favorite, but thought he was going to pull this one off.

Not sure I can even suggest this for rental.

I wasn't expecting much when I went in, and didn't get much either.

The cast didn't hurt it...it was just a bad script/movie. I will say that the action scenes with the wolfman tearing some people up were pretty entertaining...and I think Emily Blunt is pretty fucking hot.

FINALLY!!!!! Jason Bateman no longer has to live with the shame of being in the worst werewolf movie of all time!!!! The new title goes to "The Wolfman (2010)".

^I saw that, or part three, or something on TV the other day. It was hilariously bad. They just took the story from part one and did a search and replace on what sport the wolf played. They even brought back all the same extras but none of the actors that mattered. I was fully expecting Citizen Cane.

if you go into it with low expectation you will be pleasantly surprised, not nearly as bad as people are making it out to be
in fact it was pretty interesting to see that time period
